Have you lost a friend or a family member?

Have you recently lost financial stability or even your own personal safety?

Are you struggling with grief or loss of something else?
Grief comes from any type of loss and affects families and individuals in many ways. Feelings from grief or loss can range from deep sadness, denial, fear, anger, guilt, or even thoughts of self-harm. Feelings may cause somatic symptoms such as headaches, stomach aches, weight gain or loss, fatigue, or insomnia.
Feelings of grief can sometimes be overwhelming and you may need counseling assistance to learn how to acknowledge and handle the emotions that are present. It is important to take time to process and allow for healing. Some people set grief aside and many years later experience symptoms related to a loss experienced long ago.
An important part of grief and loss is knowing you are not alone and Metro Denver Family Therapy is here to help! Daria Mann, marriage and family therapist, will listen, care, point you to other resources or ideas for additional support, and help you process the loss as an individual or as a family.
We love to connect with clients struggling with grief or loss as quickly as possible. Please feel free to call and leave a message with your phone number and the best time to return your call. Daria Mann will call when available to answer any questions you may have.
